The Interns / volunteers can be attached to on-going projects or we can tailor-made programs with our partner organization to suit your particular needs. Internships / volunteer work can be from two weeks to one year however, most prefer shorter internships due to time constrains. Teaching English is much sought particularly in the rural areas including North and East of the country. In the orphanages, participant will educate these children on subjects covering conversational English, personal hygiene, as well as creative activities such as art, music, etc.

Interns and Volunteers in Sri Lanka will experience once-in-a-lifetime experience to not only lend a helping hand to needy but is filled with learning Sri Lankan way of life and numerous opportunities to explore the breath-taking beauties (both man-made and natural) while residing in Sri Lanka.

In order to ensure best time used in Sri Lanka, we recommends at least two weeks of language and culture programs for all interns and Volunteers. These programs will provide you with a necessary, comprehensive start in exploring the every day issues of Sri-Lanka. Many times, language difficulties hinder the effectiveness.

Interns and Volunteers are opened for students , undergraduates, on a career break - or even retired! From 18 years old upwards, and all nationalities. This placement would suit anyone who wants to make a real difference, wants first-hand experience of a different culture and has initiative
